Chris Lloyd - Drums
Was drummer with the Soul Seekers before moving onto the progressive rock band Travellin’ Red Wings, early stalwarts of the JB’s Club in Dudley.
Fast establishing themselves as “the best local band “ they spent some years touring the country supporting bands like Status Quo, Black Sabbath, Free, Chicken Shack, Hawkwind and Pink Floyd. “Travellin’ Red Wing go down well because they are good” was the general press report.
Chris moved on to join the Mo Birch band “a band creating a lot of interest” until he finally settled for the more secure environment of session player and songwriter for London producer John Schroeder.
